I am so excited about the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog release! There are so many amazing bundles, stamp sets and beautiful Designer Series Papers.
I really can’t decide which is my favorite. I thought that nothing could top the Eastern Palace Bundle but I’m not so sure. And the kits, whaaaaat!
Oh my planner loving goodness! I am so stoked for this and can not wait. I will pop back in with a video on this project. Get yours today and share the love with me or let me guide you in your journey to planner heaven.

I’m working on projects from the new Annual Catalog so stay tuned.
Welcome back! Today is Simply Sunday and today’s project is featuring old and new products that Stampin’ Up! offers. I’ve got a video for this Sunday’s card project, I hope you enjoy it.
This card uses the new Thick Very Vanilla card stock as the base. I cut an 8 1/2″ by 11″ sheet of Thick Very Vanilla card stock in half to get an 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″. Then I scored this at 4 1/4″, at the half way point of the 8 1/2″ side. This created the base. (Please know that I always want to include the very basic instructions just in case someone who has never created a card from scratch stumbles on this post.)
The Sahara Sand card stock was a scratch piece I had and I cut it at 5 1/4″ by 4″. The Falling In Love Designer Series Paper was one that Stampin’ Up! retired from the Occasions Catalog, it sold out quick. I love it and I’m winding down my stash by creating cards that are fun and easy. This was also a scrap piece that I cut down to 5 1/8″ by 3 7/8″ being careful to ensure that the design is directionaly (I think I just made up a word! LOL) correct. Some Designer Series Papers are design with a top and bottom, or a direction so be careful and ensure you are cutting it correctly for what you want.
Okay, so you can see the remaining instructions in the video but know that I’m always available if you have questions so just ask.
The Eastern Palace Starter Bundle and the Premier Bundle is an awesome creative kit to get you going and making beautiful cards and scrapbook pages. The 12×12 paper alone is to die for. The Starter Bundle comes with free note cards and envelopes. Wow!
The Premier Bundle comes with a free pack of new Thick Very Vanilla card stock and Very Vanilla Envelopes. When you get these bundles you are set and ready to get to creativity. What more do you want?
I LOVE this stamp set. Yeah, I’ve said it before but really how could you not?

So today starts a new series for me, Making It Mondays. I’m going to feature a video every week on Monday show you how to make cards using products that I’m featuring in the Facebook Group Classes. I want you to see as many ideas and uses for these products that Stampin’ Up! has available. I love them and I know you will too. Each time I create a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project I enjoy myself and have the satisfaction of a nicely created mini piece of art and I want you to experience that as well. Stampin’ Up! makes it easy with color coordination and many accessories to create special items that you can be proud of.
So above you can see the images in the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! What do you think? I love it! I’ve really started getting to know the stamp set and all the combinations that you can put together to create your own artwork. No serious art studying required. But the Thank You card I created in this Making It Mondays video only uses two of the stamps. The “thank you” and one of the small elements.
When I ordered the Eastern Palace Bundles in the pre-order for demo’s I ordered the Premier Bundle. This bundle includes the dies, tassels and the Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock. The Very Vanilla Thick Card Stock is free. I’ve included a link to purchase both below. Use that link to go to my shopping page and you can see all the items included in each bundle. When you place your order use the hostess code # MGFCGQSS and you will be granted access to the Eastern Palace Class Group. Choose the Starter Bundle and receive Mini Tassels Assortments and pre-cut card stock and die pieces to complete each project. Choose the Premier Bundle and receive full/new Metallic Thread in Gold as well as a roll of the 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon in Fresh Fig. You must order on or before May 31st because that is when the bundle offer expires.
Never hesitate to contact me, ask me or suggest anything. I love to hear from you!
This is going to be a new regular post for Sundays. Simply Sunday posts will show you simple and clean cards that are beautiful and stunning in their simplicity.
Today I’m featuring the Eastern Palace Suite that is now available for order on the Stampin’ Up! website prior to the catalog going live. This Suite is available as two bundles, one is the Starter Bundle for $60.50 (147196) with a free set of Very Vanilla Note Cards and matching Envelopes. The larger of the two is the Premier Bundle (147207) that is $103.50. You can read more about it in this PDF. Eastern_Palace_Flyer_NA
My intention is to show you that you can make beautiful cards with simple ingredients. Card stock, ink and stamps work together to create lovely understated cards. I’ve used the Very Vanilla Note Cards and the Eastern Beauty Photopolymer Stamp Set. Both of which are included in the Easter Palace Starter Bundle.
Also in the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle you will find that you receive three of the new In Color Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads. The new colors included are Fresh Fig, Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. You can see the I’ve used two, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig in most. I love these two colors together, they are so beautiful.
I also used the Lemon Lime Twist in this simple thank you card. I do like the color but some colors just need to grow on you a while and this one has me. This stamp set has gorgeous designs mixed with timeless greetings that can be used for many purposes. Of course, everyone needs a thank you card and I love how simple yet elegant this one turned out to be.
And this here is my favorite greeting in the stamp set. Let’s be friends forever! How is that to start your note to someone who means a lot to you? Wow, I’ve got the perfect person in mind for this one.
Registration and orders will be open from now until May 31st. There are only fifteen (15) slots open so hurry and place your order. Order the Cool Treats Bundle (#145181) via the shop now button at the right of this page and be sure to enter the hostess code # 9697CSJF. Who doesn’t like discounts? I love them! This is the time of year that Stampin’ Up! retires products from the current Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog. They offer a discount on some items but not others. What makes this time of year so exciting, other than the discounts (up to 50% off) is that the new Annual Catalog release is fast approaching. June 1st the catalog drops and I couldn’t be happier. Yeah! I’ve seen it and I’m excited and can’t wait to dig into the new products. I’m very happy that some of my favs are sticking around but the new products are to die for.
Sure I’m sad that the current Annual and Occasions Catalog are leaving us but it’s time to send them off with a celebration! So here is where the party is going to happen.
The current Annual and Occasions Catalog sales period ends on May 31st. So….. until then let’s have some fun! Let’s do some giveaways! For every customer that orders through May 31st and uses the hostess code MGFCGQSS and spends $25 and above will receive a gift. Here is where it’s going to get fun. For every $50 you spend you receive more.
Here is the breakdown:
Order $25, receive a thank you card.
Order $50, receive a thank you card and a card project pack from me.
Order $100, receive a thank you card and a card project pack as well as a new roll of Whisper White Thick Bakers Twine.
Order $150, DON’T use the hostess code (you have your own party to shake to), receive a thank you card, two card project packs, a new roll of Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine and your very own hostess rewards (10%)
You get the picture. But on top of that I have ten brand new stamp sets to give away. These are ones I’ve collected to use for this very reason! I love giving away things, it’s so much fun. To be entered in the stamp set giveaways comment on this post by telling me your favorite Stampin’ Up! product retiring or not, or just comment. You can also visit my Facebook page and comment and share the post to be entered.
Be sure to mark the check box that allows me to contact you or else I will never know who to send the gifts to. And won’t that be sad?
If you have any questions please never hesitate to contact me!
