A Painted Harvest thank you card is just what this season ordered. The Painted Harvest photopolymer stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is a fantastic versatile set. The video below takes through the process of making a thank you card using the Painted Harvest Bundle, which includes the leaf punch and the Wood Textures designer series paper.
I really do love this card but I know I say that about all the cards that I make. I fall in love many times a day if you want to know the truth. LOL But really, this one is gorgeous and the stamp set is the reason for it.
With a multiple stamp process this stamp set develops depth and beauty with color combinations that are endless.
I was working on a few orders for this card and I must say that after several sets with a few extra for me to send out it seems to be one of the easiest cards that happens to be one of the loveliest cards I’ve made.
I love to package my cards in cute packaging for the customer. I want them to feel like they’re getting a gift that is their purchase. I hope to make them feel special for having purchased something I created and let them know that I am so very thankful they chose my creation.
I hope that you have been inspired by this post and set out to create your own thank you cards and make some feel extra special. Handmade cards are just that, something that makes a person feel special. Find time to be creative today, would ya?
If you don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I would love to help you out in your creative process. Just let me know how I can help you. I can send you the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog in a flash so just ask.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time with me today.
Are you ready for Christmas? Well, ready or not it will be here before we know it. This new Bundle from Stampin’ Up! is awesome and I’m in love with it.
I’ve been playing with it and even held a local class with it as the focus so all who attended could get a jump start on their Christmas gift giving. The card builder framelits are so much fun to work with.
I really like the way the stamp set and framelits work together to help you craft projects that are above the ordinary. Handmade cards are my favorite and this bundle is a no brainer. I can even see the card builder framelits being used for occasions other than Christmas. I can’t wait to show you some of the ideas I’ve got in store for this bundle.
Let me help you create the special cards you are wanting to send to those special people in your life. Check back later and discover even more projects.
Thank you for spending some time with me. I really appreciate you taking your time to visit my blog.
I hope you guys are doing great and having a craftastic summer. I’m working hard on my Christmas projects and preparing for the pre-order for the Holiday Catalog. But more than that I’m so excited about the Stampin’ Up! Bonus Days.
I know what you’re thinking. $50?, I can’t do a project for $50! Well, I’m so glad you asked that question. You can! Let me show you projects that you can create with a $50 order. Some do assume you have some things in stock already but if you don’t and you must add to your order the good news is that for every $50 you spend you receive the $5 coupon to redeem in August. If you use this month’s host code and your order totals $50 or more you will also receive free the Clear Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush from me, VK9Z4ME2. Everyone can use some Wink of Stella!
Project #1: Moon Baby Cards
I will show you a sample order that will provide you with the essentials to complete these cards.
It may be hard to see the above screen shot of the Stampin’ Up! shopping cart. This order does assume a few things. First it assumes you have Very Vanilla Thick Card stock or something similar in your stash. It also assumes you have a yellow ink or a Daffodil Delight Ink Pad as well as a black. I used my snips to fussy cut the baby on the moon and the stars. I used ribbon from my stash as well as metallic gold thread to “sew” the string holding the star. I used the blender pens to pick up the inks from Blushing Bride and Soft Sky Ink Pads and color the baby, moon and stars. Keep adding color to darken areas of shadow and leave light colors of highlight.
I enjoyed making these cards. But don’t stop there scrapping with this set and paper is super fun and easy!
Stay tuned for more projects you can create using only $50 of product. If you don’t have what you need in your stash go ahead and add it because you can enjoy more coupons for every $50.
If you have any questions about a project you are wanting to complete ask me. I’m happy to help.
Flourishing Phrases has been my work horse stamp set. I reach for it each time I need to quickly make a sympathy, thank you or congratulations card and let someone know that I’m thinking of them. I really think this is an all time classic.
I had yet to create a set of cards with the same design but with all five of Stampin’ Up!’s In Colors, until now. I knew I wanted to use all five colors but I also knew I wanted to add some metallics as well. So I pulled out my metallics and had a blast. I’ve paired copper, gold and silver with colors that I thought complimented each In Color. I added Copper to Fresh Fig and Berry Burst. Gold was an easy marry for Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. Powder Pink and Silver is probably my all time favorite color and metallic pairing. I love, love, love the way these cards turned out. I hope you do as well.
The card base is cut from a sheet of 8 1/2″ by 11″ Thick Whisper White card stock. I cut the full sheet in half along the 11″ side at 5 1/2″ and then scored 8 1/2″ length at 4 1/4″. I Cut the Silver Foil Card Stock at 3 3/4″ by 5 1/2″, the Powder Pink Card Stock at 3 1/2″ by 5 1/2″ and the top panel Whisper White Card Stock at 3 1/4″ by 5 1/2″. Those are the measurements as I explained in the video.
Tell me what In Color you like the best and if you had your pick which metallic would you pair it with.
Welcome back! Today is Simply Sunday and today’s project is featuring old and new products that Stampin’ Up! offers. I’ve got a video for this Sunday’s card project, I hope you enjoy it.
This card uses the new Thick Very Vanilla card stock as the base. I cut an 8 1/2″ by 11″ sheet of Thick Very Vanilla card stock in half to get an 8 1/2″ by 5 1/2″. Then I scored this at 4 1/4″, at the half way point of the 8 1/2″ side. This created the base. (Please know that I always want to include the very basic instructions just in case someone who has never created a card from scratch stumbles on this post.)
The Sahara Sand card stock was a scratch piece I had and I cut it at 5 1/4″ by 4″. The Falling In Love Designer Series Paper was one that Stampin’ Up! retired from the Occasions Catalog, it sold out quick. I love it and I’m winding down my stash by creating cards that are fun and easy. This was also a scrap piece that I cut down to 5 1/8″ by 3 7/8″ being careful to ensure that the design is directionaly (I think I just made up a word! LOL) correct. Some Designer Series Papers are design with a top and bottom, or a direction so be careful and ensure you are cutting it correctly for what you want.
Okay, so you can see the remaining instructions in the video but know that I’m always available if you have questions so just ask.
Who doesn’t like discounts? I love them! This is the time of year that Stampin’ Up! retires products from the current Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog. They offer a discount on some items but not others. What makes this time of year so exciting, other than the discounts (up to 50% off) is that the new Annual Catalog release is fast approaching. June 1st the catalog drops and I couldn’t be happier. Yeah! I’ve seen it and I’m excited and can’t wait to dig into the new products. I’m very happy that some of my favs are sticking around but the new products are to die for.
Sure I’m sad that the current Annual and Occasions Catalog are leaving us but it’s time to send them off with a celebration! So here is where the party is going to happen.
The current Annual and Occasions Catalog sales period ends on May 31st. So….. until then let’s have some fun! Let’s do some giveaways! For every customer that orders through May 31st and uses the hostess code MGFCGQSS and spends $25 and above will receive a gift. Here is where it’s going to get fun. For every $50 you spend you receive more.
Here is the breakdown:
Order $25, receive a thank you card.
Order $50, receive a thank you card and a card project pack from me.
Order $100, receive a thank you card and a card project pack as well as a new roll of Whisper White Thick Bakers Twine.
Order $150, DON’T use the hostess code (you have your own party to shake to), receive a thank you card, two card project packs, a new roll of Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine and your very own hostess rewards (10%)
You get the picture. But on top of that I have ten brand new stamp sets to give away. These are ones I’ve collected to use for this very reason! I love giving away things, it’s so much fun. To be entered in the stamp set giveaways comment on this post by telling me your favorite Stampin’ Up! product retiring or not, or just comment. You can also visit my Facebook page and comment and share the post to be entered.
Be sure to mark the check box that allows me to contact you or else I will never know who to send the gifts to. And won’t that be sad?
If you have any questions please never hesitate to contact me!
The retiring list will be downloadable here on my blog as well as my Facebook page.
